We promise to use your dollars wisely.
Here’s what your donation can do at FLR:  
  • Donate $50 to purchase textbooks for 2 adults for a year.  
  • Donate $60 and feed everyone at the program for a night.
  • Donate $98 to support 1 month of instruction for a parent and child.
  • Donate $250 and provide school supplies for $25 for a year.
  • Donate $2,000 and support one part time preschool teacher's salary for a year.
Here's what your dollar donated to FLR accomplish:

  • reduce juvenile delinquency
  • reduce unemployment
  • provide job skills (GED)
  • reduce incarceration
  • reduce welfare assistance needs

Still not convinced and asking, "So where does my money actually go when I donate?"  

With last year's donations, FLR:
  • Paid for 2 part time adult education teachers
  • Distributed school supplies to approximately 40 children
  • Gave away books to children monthly to ensure young children have books in the home to read
  • Served over 4,00 light meals to program participants, again ensuring young children do not go to bed hungry
