Here’s what your donation can do at RFL:
- Donate $50 to purchase textbooks for 2 adults for a year.
- Donate $60 and feed everyone at the program for a night.
- Donate $98 to support 1 month of instruction for a parent and child.
- Donate $250 and provide school supplies for all the children in RFL for a year.
- Donate $2,000 and support one part time preschool teacher's salary for a year.
Supporting Racine Family Literacy is one of the best investments you can make
in your community. A dollar donated to RFL today is returned 100 times in
decreasing societal costs in years to come, reducing:
- juvenile delinquency
- unemployment
- lack of GED
- incarceration

Still not convinced and asking, "So where does my money
actually go when I donate?"
With last year's donations, RFL:
- Provided school supplies to 33 children in August
- Provided a Pre-GED class for the first time in program history
- Increased Home Visitor's hours so she could assist adults with vision, dental
and doctor exams, screen 33 children in home, and help added families set
goals
- Published a book of student writings for the first time in 12 years
- Purchased 200+ hardbound books for "classroom" lending libraries in two
school age classrooms, to encourage children to read more
